Equipped with 50mm neodymium high-sensitivity drivers, the SR990s offer exceptional sound quality and clarity so you can mix with confidence. A wide 20Hz–20KHz frequency response allows listeners to hear audio the way it was intended to be heard with a clear dedication to audio accuracy and maintaining a true and natural sound.

Premium Comfort

Listen in comfort on the go, or at the studio with the closed-back design that provides ample sound isolation with minimal bleed. The SR990s feature a durable and ergonomic design with a wide, self-adjusting headband and velour earpads for a secure fit and extra-comfortable marathon listening sessions. SR990s include a 1/8”-1/4” gold-plated adapter and a set of both velour and high-protein earpads.

To protect your hearing, the Samson SR990 headphones should always be used at as low a volume as possible. We recommend that you stringently follow the guidelines established by the U.S. Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) regarding maximum time exposure at various sound pressure levels:

  • Don’t use this product for more than 8 hours at 90 dB SPL
  • Don’t use this product for more than 4 hours at 95 dB SPL
  • Don’t use this product for more than 2 hours at 100 dB SPL
  • Don’t use this product for more than 1 hour at 105 dB SPL
  • Don’t use this product for more than 1/2 hour at 110 dB SPL
  • Don’t use this product for more than 15 minutes at 115 dB SPL
  • Don’t operate at listening levels of greater than 120 dB SPL!

Pay attention to what your ears are telling you! Ringing is a sign that you have set the gain levels too high and that damage may result. We recommend that you consult with a qualified audiologist if you exhibit ringing or any other symptoms.

If you want to dispose this product, do not mix it with general household waste. There is a separate  collection system for used electronic products in accordance with legislation that requires proper treatment, recovery and recycling.

With proper care your SR990 headphones will operate trouble free for many years. Should your unit ever require servicing, a Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained before shipping your unit to Samson. Without this number, the unit will not be accepted. Please call Samson at 1-800-3SAMSON (1-800-372-6766) for an RA number prior to shipping your unit. Please retain the original packing materials and, if possible, return the unit in the original carton. If you purchased your Samson product outside the United States, please contact your local distributor for warranty information and service.
